Basically, you initialize every peripheral you intend to use, and if a pin can be used for analog, you need to initialize it. Someone asking a question datsheet may not know about PICs, but they have some obligation to follow basic common sense, including not leaving tabs in code.
Manufacturers of microcontrollers and other hardware to get the data sheets: Before you start asking around: Every time you carp about this without checking first makes you look foolish.
Perhaps this is related to the problem you are having and maybe following that advice would be the best.
This makes it possible to eliminate the need for a programmer: As you intimate it would be useful to see the pin jumper code to see if this is where things go awry. As a compromise you could give one of these simple designs a try, but be prepared to discard it when you can’t get it to work. Most PICs have one such pin RA4but other pins can be used in this mode by writing a 0 to the pin itself and then writing the desired IO state to the tris direction register.
When the internal RC oscillator is used which will often be the case this constant actually a movlw instruction datssheet used to get the best possible accuracy of the clock. Assuming the 22nF was a typo? Yes, the OP used hard tabs to indent his code, so it IS your client, which apparently can’t handle it.
The old 16c84 was used widely in pay-TV stations, so it was a favorite target for hacking and receipts for defeating its code protection were circulating on the web.
I find it pretty logical, an analog input pin is what will make less “harm”, no matter what is connected there. I put all my chips in a ‘turned’ chip socket to avoid breaking the chips flimsy legs. Translations require approval of the 16f48, which will most likely be granted if the quality of the translation is adequate. A better answer will require a better question. When 16v648 program does not use too much data the most convenient data banking strategy is to keep the bank selection bits pointing to bank 0, only changing these bits when you must access a probably special function register in another bank, and then set the bank bits back immediately afterwards.
When you are doing assembly language programmaing, or when you want to write a compiler, this can be a serious disadvantage. Choosing IC with EN signal 1. So decide for yourself whether to use or avoid it.

Yes, it will do a 16F88, but maybe that needs the XWisp version that is not yet on my website. The following comment is taken straight from the datasheet, page It is about the same price as a 16F, so it is interesting only when the larger package of the 16F is a problem.
This is not a guaranteed operation, but it can ruin an attempt to reset the PIC by removing the power. You will find out what you really need just when you know how to do basic things with controller, which can be done without any of pro stuff.

The prefix 16 is for bit and bit core chips with more than 8 pins. It doesn’t matter what the “tab stops” are. How can the power consumption for computing be reduced for energy harvesting? The OP probably left tabs in the code if several of you saw it differently. A funny consequence of these diodes is that when the power to a PIC is removed but one of its inputs is still high, it will be powered via the protection diode!
Hi Marcel, There doesn’t seem to be a 16f64 on the Microchip website Do you mean the 16f84? There is an instruction that loads the W register with a literal, and an instruction that saves the W register to a memory location. A topic that is a bit fuzzy in the PIC data sheets is the maximum positive voltage that RA4 open collector can tolerate.

Wisp maakt ook gebruik van deze poorten als input. So on the question ‘can I use my 16F at 20 MHz’: However, the point is that there is no standard interpretation of tab characters, which is why they shouldn’t be left in code you show others. This is especially important on the 8-pin chips which would – when an external crystal and reset were used – have only 4 IO pins left. A freshly bought chip has LVP enabled. Other compilers and interpreters: Not only will you get good apps running more quickly, but you will be a lot more confident more quickly, too.
Or do you use another method to check your code before programming? I’d like to use 16f’s intrnal oscillator.
